Blogmas Day 9: PILKADA Serentak (Concurrent Election)

Hi guys! On this 9th day of December, I'm running out of ideas about Christmas themed post... I want to make posts about Christmas recipes or DIYs, but I got no time to do those things... Did I tell you that this week is my exam week? I also want to make a post containing my Christmas wishlist, but I'm still collecting items that would be included in my wishlist, so wait for it! ;)

By the way, today's Indonesian national holiday in order of execution of PILKADA (local elections) that held simultaneously in some cities. Sooooo lucky that I finally get one day off except Sundays~ I did fill the whole day with my laziness, but you need to know that today I tidied my room after decades leaving it disorganized :) you guys must be proud of me! As I finished tidy my room, I realized that my room got a lot wider after I put things in the right places and throw some trashes out of my room. I even found a lot of missing things... The ruler I looked for a few days ago, I found it today under a pile of papers. Idk, maybe I just need a few days to get it disorganized again xD

I'm afraid the remaining 16 posts until 25th of December will be my trivial blabbers lol. Even the 'blogmas post ideas' posts I found on other people's blogs doesn't help me much. Soooo pardon me if you have to see (yes, probably you might not wanting to read it, but I appreciate it so much if you read) my blabbers on the following days~ see you next day xx

Blogmas Day 8: 5 Ways To Celebrate Christmas with Friends 👭

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it. dressfashion.co.uk

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sometimes, you don't get the chance to celebrate Christmas with your family so you went with your friends instead. Not bad, isn't it? Friends are the people you spend most of your time with besides family. If you're not sure what would be suitable for you and your friends to celebrate Christmas joyously, here's some tips:

  1. Arrange a small Christmas party at home! Decide someone's house as the location. Every person should bring at least one kind of food or drink to the party (e.x: A brings a bottle of soda, B brings a chicken, etc). The host will be preparing the equipment like tables, paper cups, etc. During the party, you can also make some games or simple events~
  2. Go to a karaoke together. I think this one's must be very fun! You can sing together, or even make punishments for those who gets low scores of their singing. To enliven the moment, make a dresscode that you and your friends will follow (e.x: red and green, yellow and green, etc). I bet your Christmas will be awesome!
  3. Gift exchange! Each person should bring a gift that costs a certain price (e.x: at least $20). Do a lottery to decide who will exchange gifts with. Sounds fun, isn't it? :D
  4. Cook a Christmas cake together! Despite if your group including some boys, this is a great thing to try. Have a joint venture with your friends to buy the ingredients~ don't forget to wash the dishes together after you finished cooking!
  5. Go ice-skating or snowboarding. According to the events and the winter season, this must entertain you a lot. Tell your friends to teach each other, especially those who can't do winter sports well. Togetherness is number one! ;)
Have you decided with whom you will celebrate Christmas? Share with me! xx

Blogmas Day 7: 5 Ways To Celebrate Christmas with Family 👪

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it. dressfashion.co.uk

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your Christmas would be incomplete without at least spending some hours with your family, right? Christmas is the perfect moment to do big family gathering and celebrate together. There are so much ways to celebrate, and here's some of my tips:

  1. Buy and decorate a Christmas tree. It would be fun to decorate a Christmas tree with your family, isn't it? Let the children put the lower part of the tree first and the upper goes to the teens/adults. Finally, let one of the children put the top star decoration on an adults' shoulder.
  2. Special family dinner. Invite all your relatives, as many as you can. Don't let only the moms to cook the dinner, make sure all the dads and the teens help! Because it's not about the food but the togetherness :)
  3. Watch Christmas movies together. Gather your family in one big family room. Prepare the snack and the drinks, turn off the lamps, then play the movie! Be close to each other and you may bring blankets too to make the moment warmer~
  4. Do something fun outdoor! Wear winter clothes and go outside. Build snowman, do snowball fights, or even make Christmas angels on the ground. Any games are okay but make sure it's safe enough for the children!
  5. Tell Christmas stories to the children. You may also tell them that Santa is real and he's going to send them a present if they're not in the naughty list to keep them behaved (if you do this, make sure you prepared a real present for them on behalf of Santa so they won't get disappointed) xD
How are you gonna celebrate your Christmas with family? Let me know! :) xx

Blogmas Day 6: Christmas Gift Ideas For Him 🎁

Hi guys, I'm so sorry I skipped day 3 to day 5!! I was so busy with school assignments :(( so as a continuation of day 2's post, I'll share some tips about choosing Christmas gift ideas for him! Different with girls, (in my opinion) choosing boys' gifts aren't simple. It's actually based on what he likes and interest, and also his personality. But here's some clues!
  1. Accessories. Like watch, necklace, or bracelets. Most of the boys in my school enjoys wearing accessories like watch and bracelets. Some of them wear earrings too! If your boy is this kind of boy, don't hesitate to buy them some pairs :)
  2. Wallet. Well, you can say this is a mainstream one lol, but really, as everybody know that boys are mostly careless about everything. They might put their money or cards in random places. Make sure your boy got a wallet to keep him organized.
  3. Gaming accessories. I know that us, girls, hate it so much when our boy is putting games first than us sometimes. But well, we still love them anyway lol. So let this Christmas season to be a chance to tell him that we respect their hobby (to make him happy) by purchasing them new headphone or gaming keyboard (it's okay to put some additional message on the greeting card about controlling their game time!).
  4. A tumbler or simple travel drink bottle. Simple yet functional. I think boys need this to avoid them being dehydrated and making them have no need to buy mineral water again and again. They just need to refill~ (well actually I got this idea because my boyfriend is easily get thirsty. Idk if other boys are the same).
  5. Handmade scarf. This is the most lovely one!! I believe that how ugly your handmade stuffs are, they will love it. Moreover if you make it in their favorite color or put their name on it! Boys love it when you put some efforts in your gifts ;)
Got inspired? I hope so! Better prepare your gifts from now on so you don't need to rush the shopping center when the D-day is almost there~ see you next day xx

P.S: I might miss the other days since next week is my exam week ;(

Blogmas Day 2: Christmas Gift Ideas For Her 🎁

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it. dressfashion.co.uk

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christmas is the time to be jolly! To share happiness, and to share gifts! I'm pretty sure most of you are preparing Christmas gifts for your loved ones, right? If you're still troubled about what kind of gift you should give them, I'm going to give some tips. But for today, I'm posting the tips for the boys that are going to prepare gifts for their mom, sister, or even girlfriend. Girls' turn is tomorrow, okay? Here you go!
  1. Fashion! Dresses, tops, skirts, shoes... Those things are important for girls to celebrate Christmas. Why? Well... Girls have their own pleasure by wearing new clothing in seasonal occasions, and it would be awesome if their clothing matches the season (e.x: red/green/gold clothes for Christmas).
  2. Jewelries. For your information, all girls in the world love sparkly things (well it actually depends to each of their personality tho, but most of girls do love sparkly things, I guarantee).
  3. Christmas books. This must be perfect if your girl is a bookworm like me. Pick some Christmas themed novels and wrap it neatly. Put a Christmas greeting you wrote yourself, and I'm pretty sure she will be happy.
  4. Custom-made merchandises. For example; mugs, phone cases, tees, etc. Make it Christmas-themed and make sure you put some text or image that represent her so she will feel like the gift was made only for her :)
  5. A Christmas date. This one's for the boys who are preparing Christmas gift for his girlfriend. Sometimes, girls don't need expensive or exclusive things. To have a dinner and spend the Christmas Eve with you through the night is more than enough ;)
  6. Hugs and kisses! You may give this either to your mom, sister, or girlfriend. Hug her tight and kiss them, say your Christmas greetings and start a conversation about how grateful you are to spend another Christmas season with them, or how are you going to spend Christmas with them. That would be lovely!
That's all I can list for you, I hope it helps! I made it based on most of girls' interests, but still, you need to compare it with your girl's personality. Good luck and see you next day! xx

Blogmas Day 1: Things I Love About Christmas 🎅

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it. dressfashion.co.uk

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys! This is my first post for the Blogmas 2015 challenge. I'm not really sure about what to post for the following 25 days, but I think my posts will be my daily activities (the easiest topic ever). But probably I'll try make something else. To be honest, I searched all over Google to find Blogmas post ideas lol, taking this challenge is not easy at all 

So, to make it short, here's my list of things I love about Christmas:

  1. The gifts! Of course, who doesn't love Christmas gifts? But actually I don't usually receive Christmas gifts because it's not common here in Indonesia and most of my friends don't celebrate Christmas. But sometimes I do seasonal exchange gifts with my close friends :D
  2. The Christmas songs being tuned everywhere. It's lovely to accidentally listen to Christmas songs on the way home when I'm on public transport or when I'm stroll around the mall with my friends. Don't you think so?
  3. Family time! During Christmas, we spend most of our time with our family, right? Leaving our busy routines to relax for a while with your loved ones must be one of the best feelings ever in the whole world.
  4. Christmas feast. Sometimes, if my mom wants to (well, actually if she's not too lazy to), she'll prepare the family with many kinds of foods and me and my family will have a Christmas dinner together :D
  5. Christmas greetings, in any kinds. Either if it's delivered verbally or through Christmas cards, or even through tweets or comments on social medias, all of them sounds lovely to me :)
  6. Blogmas posts! Haha, this must be on my list too since I'm looking forward to read people's Blogmas posts. I'm pretty sure they're going to be great xD any of you taking the Blogmas challenge, too??
  7. Christmas tree. Also other beautiful things you may find during Christmas season. My family have a little Christmas tree that will be decorated and displayed for Christmas, every year. But we usually too lazy to put it back in the box when Christmas is over and it will keep be displayed until March or April of the next year, lol xD
  8. Christmas decorations! Not in my home, but in malls all over the country! Malls usually make incredible decorations during Christmas, every year. I'm always amazed by giant Christmas trees that displayed in some malls in Indonesia, they're sooooo magnificent!!<3
  9. Old friends meet ups. If I got the chance, I would like to have a meet up again with my junior high friends since Christmas is a perfect moment to do it. I miss them so much!! x(
  10. HOLIDAY. Which means no homeworks and I got a lot of time to lazying at home all day.
Well, I think that's all for now. How about you guys? What are things you love about Christmas? Share with me in comment section below. Don't forget to leave your blog url so I can visit you back and check out your latest post!! See you next day xx
