An Early Christmas Lunch 🎅

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, my friends and I had a lunch together at O! Fish last Saturday. We've been planning this lunch for a long time because we always wanted a moment when all of us can enjoy a day happily without thinking of any of our college assignments! I was so happy that our plan turns out to be a very special event to us instead left undone (like most of plans I made in my life lol). And actually our plan was just a simple lunch instead of an "early christmas lunch," but whatever it is, our event was filled with a lot of fun!

O! Fish is a restaurant that serves fish as their special menu, and it's located at Gading Serpong, about 2 km away from our college. There are a few kinds of fishes like Dory, Cobia, Salmon, and even Calamari (squid). You can have them either fried or pan seared, and pick your favorite sauce and side dish. I ordered Pan Seared Dory with Cream Sauce and Fries and Green Salad, and had a regular ice tea for drink. It was really good, much better than my expectation about their food. The fish was boneless and really soft. I also had taste of their mashed potato, and it was really yummy! It was really worth the price. I won't mind to have another lunch at O! Fish again! Oh, and fyi, this place is owned by Dion Wiyoko, a famous Indonesian actor. And luckily, he was at his restaurant on that day! So me and my friends didn't miss the chance and took photos with him. He was so tall! I googled him the day after and Wikipedia says that he is 1,8 meters tall..😐

My friends and I consists of 9 people. We were at the restaurant for about 4 hours, and we spent most of our time to take photos! Sounds stupid, yes, but that's just what we actually are. It's not only us who stayed to take photos, anyway. Most people do that too! It's the place that has a good atmosphere and photogenic spots that make us felt like don't wanna leave. Oh, we also did a surprise for our friend, Alis, who had her birthday a week before. It was only a slice of cake because we didn't have much money to afford a big one, but at least we did it with a sincere heart, right? Alis seems so happy about it, anyway! And now, prepare yourself for loads of photos of us!~

These friends of mine are all my classmates during my first year of college. We almost finish our first semester and going to spend the following 6 months (second semester) together before finally get separated on the third semester (but we will try out best to have same classes together!). For me, keeping relationship close with people who you don't meet everyday isn't easy, but I wish I will keep contact with them even until we graduate!

“The more you read, the more things you know.”

I love to read. When I read, I can escape from the real world and just simply imagine my own world. The possibilities are endless; and most of the times, I’ll find myself drowned in it. A book is a gift you can open again and again! Don't you see how magical a book is?

Reading makes you much more knowledgeable than people who don’t read. Isn’t it pleasant, when you know some trivial facts that your friends don’t? Trust me, it’s something to be proud of, because all the informations you gain from books will be very useful in the future.

Reading also can train the way you think. It can make you forget your stress and take your problems away by drowning you in your world of imagination. It comforts you with stories, and sometimes it might control your emotion to the feelings inside. And most of the times, a book can make you lost your sense of time because you’ll just get carried away with it.

It’s totally different with watching movies.

[Random Chatter] #1: Negativity

I just don't get it. I worked so hard for everyone, showered them with so much love, wished the best for them, but they don't even care a little about me. This feels so wrong, but frankly, I'm so pissed off. Isn't that rude, disregarding each thoughtfulness of mine? I wanted them to be happy, but they don't care if I'm sad or glad. I wished them blissfulness, but they don't even want to waste their time thinking of me. Isn't that just... evil? I won't ever claim myself as an angel-hearted person, I'm not. But compared to them, aren't I?

***

In life, people make choices. I choose them. But they don't choose me. It's miserable, how our path didn't cross each other. We just met, said hello, became friends, and then forget each other anytime soon. I once believe in "best friend forever" thingies, but then I realized that it's something impossible. Even if my path crossed theirs a few times, but since we can't stay at a same place forever, as we go forward, we'll leave 'that' path and make a new one. Pathetic, indeed. Most of myself think that the concept about "friends" works the same as "partner" does. Help each other, cares for each other, love each other, but no matter what, that kind of relationship will not be that much as we expect it would be.

***

Growing up ruins everything. At least, that's what I can conclude for now: you graduated high school, and automatically become a jobless person. You just wake up, eat, watch TV, eat, take a bath, do some things online, then go to sleep, and repeat them all over again. Then you feel like needing to go get a job, but then you feel like don't want to let go of your freedom. But you know that you can't be like that forever, it's such a pain in the ass to burden your parents (both financially and mentally) for the rest of your life. You'll start looking for a job because you need it, not because you want it.

Hi guys, so, this [Random Chatter] article is... Well, kind of article that contains my random rattlings? Every person has their own randomness, and probably this article is one of mine. I hope this kind of post won't bother you. It's just my way to spew my thoughts :)

Prom Night: #AddictedToAMemory2016 | May 4th, 2016

Here is one wedding and dress store. I believe you will love it. dressfashion.co.uk

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

((me//lorens//andre//liva//nabiilah))
Hi guys!! Last night was my prom night, and it was really dope! Despite it was my last night with all of my high school friends and teachers altogether, I was really happy that I can celebrate this last event with them. So, the prom night was celebrated in Grand Ballroom of Novotel Hotel, Tangerang. And as you can see, the theme was "Addicted To A Memory." It was held from 5 pm till drop (about 9 pm). I was asked to help the prom night committee to help them as an usher because they lack of people. I started preparing my look from 1 pm and had to standby already in the ballroom at 3 pm. I'm so glad to have a new experience. I understand now that handling such a big event is hard. When things don't go as planned, some people might get angry for no reason and we have to deal it with a cool mind. I've never been an usher before and now I know that being an usher is super tiring, standing all the time and make sure the guests are taking the right places. Especially with the high heels lol (pegel!!!)

There were many kinds of performance; choirs, traditional dance, modern dance, solo singers, and a special choral group by the teachers! Also, there were bestowals for "king" and "queen" of the night, both from the students and teachers. They were selected based on how much they put effort for their appearance that night. The "queen" from the students was really beautiful, her dress was really cute! And from the teachers, the "king" was a Chinese literature teacher, Lǎoshī Santo, and the "queen" was Miss Verawati. Lǎoshī Santo doesn't teach my class, so I don't really know him, but his appearance last night sure was great! While Miss Verawati was my English teacher when I was in 10th grader. She's one of my favorite high school teacher! Too bad I didn't take any proper pictures of them. Well, actually, I didn't take any proper pictures during the prom. Most of the pictures I took are selfies and selfies and selfies lol.

Soto Daging Jakarta - Novotel Hotel, Tangerang
The dinner were great, too! At least they were beyond my expectation. But I didn't took photos of all of the foods, I only managed to took this one above, it's Soto Daging Jakarta. The bowl was kind of cute so I felt like taking photo of it. It tastes good! There were also blackpepper beef, sweet and sour fried fish, fried noodles, etc. As for the desserts, there were many kinds of puddings (custard is provided), fruits, and mini cakes. The cakes was really delicious! So, I was taking everything to my table because I was hungry as hell (we had dinner at about 7 pm), but in the end didn't eat up everything. I'm a bad girl for this, I know right, so don't do this naughtiness of mine xD sorry chefs for not eating everything I took.

This picture above shows me and my favorite teacher! He's Mr Kautsar, he teaches multimedia lessons. To be honest, I'm not that kind of student that act super polite all the time. I prefer teachers that I can talk to like talking to a friend (but with still keeping the politeness and not stepping out boundaries), and he does. Plus, he's fat. You know, I have a thing about fat guys. I like them flabby more than skinny. At the end of my 11th grade term, there was an issue about him resigning, but fortunately he decided to consider about it again, and here he is, being my teacher until I graduate! He's really someone to be proud of. Love you, big guy!

I must say that these girls; Liva, Nabiilah, and Lorens are my high school best-friends that I spend most of my time with them. And I want you to know that we're not that kind of lovey-dovey best-friends that cries when we're about to separated or other crybaby stuff. We insult each other, but tbh, isn't it the actual meaning of being best-friends? Insulting each other without hard feelings? (Gak suka banget deh sama temen yg dikatain sedikit langsung baper. It's just like, EW.) During the last three years, we had some friendship issues, most because of differences and how we can't fully understand each other yet, but we made up then. I had great times with them, really. Love you guys! Although we won't meet everyday anymore just like we used to, I know that I can't forget all of our lovely memories! Wise sayings: For me, friendships are best when we don't take it too seriously. Because if we fall too deep, it may hurts when we break apart. I don't mean that friends are just for fun though, I see friends as important persons that really matters to me, but seeing further that not everyone think the same, I just want to avoid heartbreaks :)

Aaaaanddd... favorite man of the night goes to my dearest partner: Andi Kurniawan Narutama! I always love guys in suits (too bad still can't see my boyfie in suit directly, still never had the chance), and he was really great last night! I can say that he's my guy best-friend. I love him so much! We has similar likes and sense of humor. I really can't imagine how bad my high school might be without this cute guy!! Fyi, actually he was my elementary school friend. Then we took different middle school, and met again in a same high school. Isn't this a fate? Well, I know it is. Me without him is just a piece of dust (butiran debu maksudnya). We're planning to start working together for a same company in the near future, and please, wish us luck, okay? xD (talking about start working, I feel a bit uneasy. I think I'm still not ready for working all serious (ugh you know, I'm just too hyper). I'm scared I made a mess and others. Plus, I'm feeling like don't wanna let go of my holiday as a jobless person lol).

I hate how my face always look awkward in mirror selfies.
((marc jacobs dog case by @mistyshopp on ig))

Sorry for the selfies! I really want to post it here because it's so rare for me taking selfies wearing party outfit and makeup. I really want to say thanks to whoever lend me the makeup stuff and the senior (didn't know her name) who applied my eyeshadow, and also to Angel that I just met recently but decided this hairstyle for me (I like it so much!), and to Aureliya who helped me curl my hair (my hair is so thick that it need patience to curl it). I know I should've take photos earlier when my makeup and hairdo was better, but I forgot because I had to standby on my place as an usher in the beginning of the event.

And finally, a look to share with you guys: my prom night outfit. It wasn't special though. The dresscode was dress and suit, and I don't have any nice dress to wear. I thought I gotta buy a new one, but I'm afraid if I buy it in a hurry like this it won't be good. I didn't put too much effort in my prom look. I bought the jumpsuit before the chinese new year, and the cape blazer last week. But I kinda like this look tho. I wanted to wear black so much, 'cause I think wearing black to the prom must be cool xD

Last but not least: it's the yearbook staff family photo!! I'm so happy that we finally managed to take photo of all of us because that guy on the most left, Agung, is really hard to contact that we can't take a full team photo with him. But thank God that he attended the prom so we can drag him to take photo with us lol. Working with these guys is great, although we had arguments, we can get through it. Too bad I didn't take photos with the prom night committee because my parents picked me up too early and I can't keep them waiting to just take photos with them. And yep, we still have work to do: finishing our yearbook. I hope we can make it in time so the yearbook can be distributed to all students with the last education report card (about in the middle of June). Just get ready for work, work, work, work, work, work~

This prom must be one of my memorable events in my life. The prom wasn't perfect, but the memories we made are perfect.

See you next post! xx

A Proud 98s

As you can see in this post, you can conclude two things about me: I born in 1998 and I love pink!
And yes, those two statements are totally right!

I bought this sweater hoodie on instagram (@thesilversky) with my friends a few months ago. We have the same prints and different colors (based on our favorite colors!). The Silver Sky is an online shop based on Jakarta selling custom designed tees, jackets, hoodies, skirts, etc. They use digital printing to print your design onto your clothing. I have two products of them: this sweater hoodie and a sweatshirt I wore here

Just in case you're planning to buy any custom clothing at @thesilversky, here's a short review: the sweatshirt fabric is good (if I'm not mistaken, mine is cotton combed 30s) and the printing is very good. It doesn't fade or ruined although I wash it using washing machine. About the sweater hoodie, mine is fullprint sweater: just like the sweatshirt, the printing is excellent. It doesn't fade or ruined, but the outer fabric of this sweater is satin, which makes it feels so hot wearing it on sunny days. Also, the sleeves are too long for me although I already choose the smallest size :( but overall I still like it. I love its pink sleeves and the big pocket on the middle!

Hype my look! Just leave a comment for a hype back or fan back :D

Recent activities
Today, my school arranged a campus visit to Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). We went there by bus. Their building is winning an award as the most energy efficient building in Southeast Asia. I'm so interested with this campus since last year and I really want to continue my education there by taking visual communication design major. So, wish me luck so I can enter this campus via scholarship track :)

#fyi, I decided to become a loyal reader of Gogirl! magazine. I love its girlish design and also girlish bonus which usually comes with (almost) every issue. Also, it also helps me to keep being up to date with new trends and celebrity news. Well, I hope I'll seriously become a loyal reader... Because sometimes I'm too lazy to buy the issues every month and sometimes I'm too broke to buy new issues xD. Any of you are a loyal reader of Gogirl! magazine too? :D

Bonus photo! LOL, I love taking selfies or photos like this!
I also love editing photos to change its filters (somehow most of my photos always turn out pretty dark) and make it look cuter by adding stickers.
Thanks to my little sister as my photographer for taking today's look photos. xD

Bad Day (Irony #3)

Do you know the feeling of being invisible?
You were there, but people act like you weren't

You were there standing right in front of them, but they didn't look. They avoided you, they didn't want to even look at your face. You tried to look at them; they seemed like noticed, but they didn't want to have an eye-contact with you, so they looked away. You wanted to try to talk to them, but you can't think a word... You wanted to ask, "Why?" but you just can't. You felt like digging your own hole by asking such thing, so you discouraged

The next time you see them, they were having chit-chats with people who are your friends, too. You joined. You talked to the person who has closest relationship with you at the moment, you laughed. But they seemed like not liking you. They went away. They laughed together just for themselves. They avoided you. You knew you used to be with them. You knew it so well, how you made good memories with them. You cried inside. You suffered so much to not cry for real. You tried so good. You succeed.

Then comes your last encounter with them for the day. They still avoided you. They walked here and there randomly, trying so hard so you can't find them. But you found them. And once again, you wanted to try to talk to them, but you can't think a word... You were so negative. You were so doubtless that if you talk to them, they would ignore. Deep inside, you knew that they are actually not that bad. But well, you discouraged

You want to know so bad the actual reason behind all of this. Your chest hurts so bad. Your eyes feel so hot, you want to cry... You want to cry your heart out so much. All you ever wanted to know is the answer of your short, pitiful question: "Why?" but nobody answered. The only thing you want besides your answer is to sleep. A long sleep, and forgetting all your pain when you get up.

If you've read this until the end, I appreciate it. Thank you so much. :)

Simplicity

The Silver Sky white sweatshirt // Elizabeth bag // unbranded jeans // Converse galaxy sneakers

I wore this outfit last Wednesday when I went to Tangcity Mall to have a meet up with my elementary school friend. We went to the cinema and had lunch together at a Japanese restaurant. She paid for my lunch as a treat since she celebrated her seventeenth birthday on May. I wasn't able to come to her party, so she gave me a free lunch as a replacement. The movie we watched is Jurassic World which I posted a review about it, check my previous post! Before getting back home, we bought drinks and had a long conversation about many things... Fortunately we have drinks so we didn't get thirsty because of talking so much. We took selfies too! Simply check my instagram to see more photos of us. Oh, and as her birthday gift, I drew her with her favorite fictional characters. Seems cheap, huh? But I really don't know what to buy for her. As long as I know, her wishlist items are all too expensive... I'm glad when she said she love it! It was really fun since I got nothing to do in my house during holiday!

PS: Tomorrow is my third anniversary with my boyfriend! Yay!

Happy 35th Monthversary, love!
Time flies so fast, it's just a month away until our 3rd anniversary!
I wish us less fights, more affections.
I love you to the moon and never come back.

Also, happy 45th birthday to my beloved mother ❤
I love you with all of your perfect imperfections!
I wish you longevity, ageless, health, and wealth.
Me and my sister are very sorry if our gift doesn't satisfy your expectation,
but well, at least we tried, okay?
We love you!

Irony #2

I don't understand.
In which part I did wrong?

I did everything.
I tried so many times.

But still,
I can't have what I want.
I can't get what I deserve.

I don't understand at all.
IN WHICH PART I DID WRONG?

I'm angry,
I'm sad,
I'm broken,
I'm lonely,
I'm falling apart.

I feel like I'm being pushed away by everything,
by each people around me.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND AT ALL.
IN WHICH PART I DID WRONG?

I really need to know.
I'm really tired of being invisible.

Adieu

Yesterday was my last day of my practical work period. Since two months ago, I worked at a map designing company. In my school, practical work is one of graduation requirements. I started on March 2, and May 8 was my last day of work. The withdrawal day is May 11, which me and my friends will come to office like usually, but our tutor from school will come after us to 'take' us back to school formally. So yesterday, as a farewell party, we went to J.CO near our office.

In my office, there are ten students having practical work. Five from my school, and five from another school. We get along nicely although sometimes we brawl randomly. In this farewell party, there are three from my school, five from another school, and the two are our office tutor. The other two from my school really need to go to another place, so yeah, it's a party for ten of us. Actually, there's one more person we really want to invite in this farewell party, which is the only office girl. We usually call her Mbak Susi. She's very funny and she got a very hilarious laugh. Too bad she has to go home immediately yesterday.

Beyond my expectation, my practical work was very exciting. I learned a lot of things about designing using new applications. The atmosphere of the office isn't rigid, so I enjoy working in this place so much (I really can't stand silence sometimes). I feel happy to finally finish my practical work, but I also have a feeling that I'll miss the atmosphere. I might miss the moments where we eat cup noodles as breakfast, sharing snacks (well it's actually me who always ask for their snack), joking around, talking about our jobs, taking selfies together, sharing our stories, insulting each other (lol, do not copy our attitude), etc. My favorite moments is when everytime we got so excited for discounts in a mini market right beside our office building!

Thanks for our new memories from the last two months!
By the way, if you're asking why there are only nine persons in the picture... The tenth person is taking the picture, lol.
