[TV Series] You

YOU
Genre: Psychological thriller, Crime drama
Based on: You, Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
Developed by: Greg Berlanti, Sera Gamble
Network: Netflix
No. of seasons: 2
No. of episodes: 20 (10 per season)
Duration: 40-52 min per episode

"If he loves you, that's the most dangerous thing."

So, recently, I've finished this series streaming on Netflix: You. The second season just aired since December 26 last year, so I decided to binge-watch the whole series last week. Result is: me, mind-blown for knowing the possibilities that can happen to someone, doing "the best" for love.

First season of the series tells a story about Joe Goldberg (Penn Bradgley), a brilliant male bookstore manager who crosses paths with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail), an aspiring female writer. What would you do for love? This question is put to the test for Joe. A charming yet awkward crush becomes something even more sinister when the writer becomes the manager's obsession. Making use of the internet and social media, Joe uses every tool at his disposal to become close to her, even going so far as to remove any obstacle—including people—that stands in his way of getting to her.

Joe Goldberg is one hell of a role, and Penn Badgley definitely nailed it. Joe is walking on the fine line between the nice guy and a complete sociopath. About Joe; I really think Joe is a complicated personality, since he does love with all his heart, which would require a loving heart, but this loving heart also does the crazy things—even crime, to make his way to get to the girl of his dreams. I believe his broken childhood has a lot to do with his personality as an adult. I won't say he's a total bad guy, because during the series, I can sense that he's actually a good man, but he's on his way to be 'perfect'. He defines love as something worth all the sacrifices, but in so many wrong ways.

In the first season, New York, Joe meets Beck. Guinevere Beck, in my opinion, is just a simple young-adult like most of us are. She's on social media, desperate for validation as a cool person as she tries to prove it by having the 'cool kid' circle of friends and lover. She wants to do what she love, in her case, to make money from her poets and writings. She stresses but rarely let anyone know. She's vulnerable, and I think that's what Joe sees in her. Joe has this eagerness to take care of someone, either it's a girl of her dreams or some unlucky kids on the block. To be honest, I really like Beck! She's pretty and smart, but well, she's on her way adulting, therefore she does need someone to take care of her. She needs someone around. Despite this sociopath personality Joe has, I really ship them. They're so cute together. Just if Beck wasn't too curious about stuff...

Second season, Los Angeles, Joe—or I must say, Will meets Love. Yep, Joe started a whole new life at LA, now as Will Bettelheim. In this "new life" he created, he tries to be a better person. Instead of getting rid of every people he considers as obstacle, he wants to be a man who actually deserves Love. Love Quinn is a chef working at Anavrin, a cafe which Will works at too. She's friendly and talkative. She bakes great pastries. Little did we know, she's also kinda obsessive. She made the first move at Joe. While Joe still thinks that he doesn't deserve her, Love keeps making her way to him and eventually makes Joe actually falls for her. The lovebirds can't have fun for too long, that Candace Stone—or Amy Adams—Joe's ex-girlfriend from long time ago, finds him and wants to get a revenge. Best part about this season is probably watching Joe "meets his match" and how he reacts to that.

Overall, the series is giving us a unique take on the stalker angle and a big hint for us to realize how exposed we are on the internet, especially social medias. Also You lets us to think again about letting some stranger to get into our life. When he's good to you, is that all? Can you love him back when you reveal all the things he did for you? All the sacrifices he made for love?

I don't think the series is made for everyone tho. But once you get into it, it gets really addictive.
P.S: Last three episodes have the real twists.

[Movie] La La Land

LA LA LAND
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Musical, Romance
Directed by: Damien Chazelle
Written by: Damien Chazelle
Release date: December 25, 2016 (USA)
Production house: Black Label Media, Gilbert Films, Impostor Pictures
Duration: 2 hours 8 mins.

Here's to the most overrated movie of 2016. So sorry for those who hyped a lot to La La Land, but for me, this movie is so overrated! My first impression to this movie was just like everyone else's! I really thought this movie gonna be very good since it looks like that everyone love it! Plus, I've always liked Emma Stone since I watched The Amazing Spiderman (and omg how i love her relationship with Andrew Garfield!!). But, boom. My expectation was shattered. La La Land didn't impress me as much as I hoped it might be.

I watched the movie with my friends. We picked this movie for that reason we talked about: it looks like that everyone love it. That's all. Turns out, the first-half of the movie was really boring, and I can't help but to check out the rating of this movie on IMDb right on my seat during the movie. And I was really surprised that the rating is 8.8! I was like 'wuuuuuuuuuut' and... well, tried to just enjoy the movie. Then, as the movie finished, I can say that this movie is good, but not 'that' good. The ideas they're trying to tell is really good; about people trying to reach for their dreams and how dreams don't just magically come true like we usually seen in movies. But for me, the beginning is too boring and a bit weird. I don't like the idea to begin a movie with a bunch of strangers dancing and singing together in a middle of traffic jam... The point is, as the beginning of the movie didn't get my attention, it makes me lost curiousity to continue watching the movie. I can say, if I watch this movie online and not in the cinema, I might never watch this movie until the end.

Other than that, let's talk about the good things. I really liked the relationship between Mia (Emma Stone) and Sebastian (Ryan Gosling). They look so cute together, and their relationship development is so lovely! My favorite part is when Mia just sent a voice message to Seb, telling how she misses him, but it turns out that Seb's at home, preparing a dinner for two (too bad the dinner ended with a fight). Actually, I might be very touched by this movie if (once again) the beginning wasn't so boring... Because I know that they loved each other so much. Seb got a job that he doesn't really like for Mia (that her parents want a 'good man' to be with Mia), and it's so... Ugh. Please find me someone like this to be my future husband lol.

The songs are so geeeeewd! My favorite is Audition (The Fools Who Dream) by Emma Stone and City of Stars by Ryan Gosling. Both are very good, and it's so awesome that both main actors/actress who sings the songs. A Lovely Night is great too, as it's the song that comes along with the iconic dance by Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. To be honest, this dance was also a reason I watched La La Land. It's so cute and entertaining!

Rate: 6.8/10
but 8.8/10 for the songs! :)

[Movie] Moana

MOANA
Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family, Fantasy, Musical
Directed by: Ron Clements, Don Hall
Written by: Jared Bush, Ron Clements
Release date: November 25, 2016 (Indonesia)
Production house: Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures
Duration: 1 hour 47 min.

I hope it's not too late to review this movie, my bad that I drafted this post and forgot to post it. Yup, I watched Moana a few weeks ago with my family and it was beyond my expectation. It was so good! Moana got me enchanted just like Disney's previous movies, Zootopia and Frozen (I'm so excited that they say they're going to make a sequel for Frozen!). Disney always know how to steal my heart. The animation, the story, the music! I love them all. And yes, Moana's main soundtrack, How Far I'll Go, just ranked top on my playlist now. Auli'i (the voice actress of Moana) is really a good singer and she looks just like Moana in real life!

The movie begins a thousand years before. The island goddess Te Fiti, she created all the islands and the life that lives on them thanks to the power of her heart that forms as a green pebble. But her heart was stolen by Maui, a shapeshifting demigod, who believes if he has the heart of Te Fiti, he might gain a power of creating life to the humans. When he was about to escape, a gigantic lava monster named Te Ka attacks him, losing the pebble in the vast ocean. Without Te Fiti, all of the Pacific Islands will be left to rot away by a darkness spreading across the ocean. The heart of Te Fiti must be restored, and who else is responsible to do that except Maui? So, Moana, encouraged by her grandmother, left the island to find Maui and force him to return the heart of Te Fiti.

Little Moana is really cute, right!? She also has the courage and kindness that make ocean choose her. And Moana, unlike other Disney princesses, don't need any prince in the movie. The movie has no romance, yet still able to touch your heart with all the love inside. But talking about Moana as a Disney princess, Moana herself kept on denying that she's not a princess, but Maui says: "If you wear a dress and has an animal sidekick, you're a princess." which somehow addressed to Moana with Heihei/Pua.

I really love Moana and Maui's love-hate relationship! At first, Maui keeps on refusing to restore the heart of Te Fiti and throw Moana to the ocean all the time. But thanks to the ocean, Moana always get back on the boat. But after Maui get back his fishhook from Tamatoa, the enormous crab that loves shiny objects, Maui finally accepted Moana's request to restore the heart of Te Fiti, and their relationship grown stronger. He taught Moana how to sail and everything. I think they suit best as brother and sister, since they fight over little things and get along easily, so cute!

And for the animal sidekicks... of course it's Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster. Pua must be the cutest pig I ever seen in Disney movie history. His big ears really make the face much cuter. I hoped he would appear more often in the movie when I first seen him in the beginning of the movie, but it turns out that Heihei that become the main sidekick lol. If Pua is the cutest pig, then Heihei... must be the stupidest rooster lol. He even don't know which one's food and which one's not! But that's what makes him special in the movie, right? Because he always bring laughter to us xD

One of best parts of the movie is the main soundtrack, of course! My favorite is How Far I'll Go (Moana) and You're Welcome (Maui). Thanks to this movie, now I know that Dwayne Johnson can sing very well! It's surprising knowing such guy can sing that good for Disney! This is the second time I adored Disney musical movie so much after Frozen. Overall, Moana is a movie that I can watch over and over again without getting bored. At first I didn't think it would be this great, so I'm so happy that it's really worth it!

[Movie] Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

FANTASTIC BEAST AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Genre: Action & Adventure , Kids & Family , Science Fiction & Fantasy
Directed by: David Yates
Written by: J. K. Rowling
Release date: November 16, 2016 (Indonesia)
Studio: Warner Bros. Pictures
Rating: PG-13
Duration: 2 hours 12 min.

To be honest, I'm a big fan of Harry Potter series, and when Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was confirmed to be adapted into a movie, I was very very verrrryyyyy excited! I watched this movie a few days ago with my boyfie (yaaas I finally met him after 4 months of not meeting each other because of distance), I was so happy!! And yep, I didn't regret anything about this movie because I end up wanting to watch it over and over again. One of the main reasons is, of course: Eddie Redmayne!

Eddie Redmayne, I believe, is an important part why this movie is really awesome. He acted Newt Scamander so perfectly! I love his acting, like, seriously!!💕 He shows everything in his act; even how Newt loves his creatures so much. The first time I adored Eddie Redmayne acting is in The Theory of Everything movie (it's also a great movie!) when he acted as Stephen Hawking. Newt Scamander himself is a really lovely person, that he gives his all to look after magical creatures, to nurture and love them unconditionally. Plus, he's a Hufflepuff! I don't even get it why did Newt actually expelled from Hogwarts. He's just a cinnamon roll :c

So, Newt went to New York city and met this guy Jacob Kowalski, who's an aspiring baker and accidentally swap suitcases. Then, Newt's niffler (a treasure-hunting creature with a long snout) sneaked out of Newt's suitcase in the bank and steal everything's shiny. Newt tried to get the niffler back all around the bank and ended up making a riot. Then he was 'arrested' by Tina Goldstein, a former auror. Lots of things happen; Tina brought Newt and Jacob to her house and met Queenie her sister, Newt escaped to find all of his missing creatures, until they meet the actual problem: Obscurus. If I retell the story here, it wouldn't be as exciting as the movie does, so watch it yourselves guys! I promise you won't have any regret!!🙆

In the movie, my OTP is Jacob and Queenie!! They're soooo cute together. I know they liked each other, and it's really unfortunate that Jacob should be obliviated as well as the other muggles. I also like Queenie's legilimens ability a lot, that I've always wanted that kind of 'superpower' lol. Legilimens is a title for people, to put it simple, who can read others' mind. Don't you guys think that it's a very useful power? You can tell if a person actually think about you without asking or anything, just read their mind lol 😏

And this cutie above is a niffler, the most hilarious creature in the movie. He actually loves everything that shine and he knows how to hide away from Newt, but at last Newt will always find this naughty guy and put it back to his suitcase. Newt has a lot of fantastic beasts in his suitcase, and I love how he can put everything, literally everything, inside his suitcase, even himself! Yet, the suitcase weight stays not-heavy... I hope I can have that kind of thing someday lol. But of course ones that's still empty, not full of those fantastic beasts, especially the niffler because the niffler is really a pain in the ass :))

Actually, I haven't read the book yet because I've never seen it in bookstores (either because I'm unlucky or it's not sold in my city/country). But I'm really looking forward to read the book as soon as possible because I believe that every J. K. Rowling's story are better in the books💘

[Circle Lens] Geo EyesCream Rayray Gray | KAWAI GANKYU

Hi guys! I'm back again with a review of my new circle lens I bought from Kawai Gankyu. Kawai Gankyu is an online store that sells many kinds of Korean circle lenses and other eye care products. It also available on instagram (@kawaigankyu). They provide various brands, sizes, and colors of circle lenses. So, my glasses are getting loose and it doesn't fit me perfectly anymore (it often falls down when I nod or bow). Since I'm too lazy to go buy a new glasses (and getting through a lot of considerations when choosing the best), I prefer buying new circle lenses 😏

It was pretty hard to decide which one to buy when I was browsing over Kawai Gankyu's webstore, but then my choice went to Geo EyesCream Rayray Gray. If you ask me why, well, it was simply because I like gray lenses and Geo EyesCream seems like a nice series of circle lenses. But the main reason is because it was on sale lol (bought it for IDR 90,000, the original price was IDR 135,000). My lenses arrived about two days after I ordered and confirmed payment on the website. The package was a white cardboard box with the smaller box inside (the yellow one, look at pic on top). Inside the yellow box, there are two bottles of my circle lenses, bubble wrapped, and a lenscase.

Geo EyesCream Rayray Gray
diameter: 14.5mm
water content: 42%
life span: 1 year
base curve: 8.7mm

Now here comes the review! 🙋
I like the simple pattern that gives a natural look on your eyes when you wear it. It's also not too big nor too small, which makes me can easily put it on my eyes (big lenses sometimes take me much more time that small ones that I'm not 'that pro' on wearing lenses). Also, it's pretty comfortable wearing this lenses most of times. And for me, it dries my eyes too often that I have to put on solution on my eyes frequently. But it's still okay! There's a lot to like about this lens. Plus, I like how Kawai Gankyu pack their products and the brand design as well. So cute!

Here's a photo of me wearing the lenses indoor:

Repurchase?
Yes, if I don't find any other interesting circle lens to try~

Thank you for reading, and see you next post xx

[Movie] Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji 「オオカミ少女と黒王子」

WOLF GIRL AND BLACK PRINCE
Romaji: Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji
Japanese: オオカミ少女と黒王子
Genre: Teen-Romance, Romantic-Comedy
Directed by: Ryuichi Hiroki
Written by: Ayuko Hatta, Yukiko Manabe
Release date: May 28, 2016 (Japan)
Producer: Shinzo Matsuhashi, Naoaki Kitajima
Duration: 1 hour 56 min.

Hi there!! Sorry for disappearing for a very very very long time... I just entered college and suddenly I got so busy since I got no single day without assignments. I took art major, and the assignments really use up a lot of time and energy (and money, too). I'm going to show you some of my assignments someday soon in a post as a proof that I gone for something advantageous and not just lazying around, 'kay? I'll do the post asap! So, some of you guys might be asking, why even in the middle of my rushing activities, I still have time to watch some movies?! Well, but really, I just managed to watch movies during few days before the mid exam (which makes my lecturers lessen the assignments a little so we can breathe peacefully for a while lol).

The movie I just watched, as you already know from the title and that big poster above, is titled as "Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji" which means "Wolf Girl and Black Prince" in English. It's adaptated from a shoujo manga written by Ayuko Hatta, and also has an anime series published during final quarter of 2014 by TYO Animation in Japan. I don't read the manga nor watch the anime, so I can't give a comparation of them with the live action. The movie tells story about Erika Shinohara, a high school student who desperately wants to fit in a clique so she won't be lonely. However, her clique consists of girls who have boyfriends, and she has to tell lies about her having a boyfriend too. She even took a photo of a random guy as a "proof" that she isn't lying. Unfortunately, the guy she took photo of, Sata Kyouya, turns out to be the most popular boy in her school. Erika asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend, which he agrees to under one condition: that she become his "Wolf Girl" by acting like a pet to him.

To be very honest, I actually watched this movie because the main actor is Yamazaki Kento (acts as Sata Kyoya). Yamazaki Kento is my favorite Japanese actor of all time!! He's cute, and he appears as main actor, everywhere. Literally everywhere. Well, now is his rising time. Some people don't like it that he's everywhere, they say it's boring to see same faces over and over again in different movies. But I don't! I love it that his face is everywhere! Fumi Nikaido (acts as Erika Shinohara) is really cute, too! I don't really know about Erika's personality in the manga, but I think Fumi is too innocent to role as Erika lol, because somehow Erika (in the manga/anime) has a face that shows strong/emphatic personality. But it's okay since she's cute! Overall, the actors/actresses in the live action really resembles the original character, and it's really great.

(CONTAINS SPOILER)
My favorite part of the movie is when Kyouya realizes his feelings to Erika, that he told his friend, Kamiya, that it's not everyday you can find the person who really cares about you and really think about your feelings. And also that funny part when Kyouya deletes all contact numbers of 300 girls in Kamiya's cellphone xD and last but not least, that moment when Kyouya finally approached Erika, put a necklace on her neck and kissed her but can't tell "I love you" without getting embarassed! That's soooo cute!❤

Overall, I really like this movie! The story isn't too complicated but still have its own interesting intrigue. Plus, it has Yamazaki Kento in it!

[Movie] Ore Monogatari!!「俺物語!!」

MY LOVE STORY!!
Romaji: Ore Monogatari!!
Japanese: 俺物語!!
Genre: Teen-Romance, Romantic-Comedy
Directed by: Hayato Kawai
Written by: Kazune Kawahara, Aruko, Akiko Nogi
Release date: October 31, 2015 (Japan)
Production house: Nikkatsu, Django Film
Duration: 1 hour 45 min.

Hi guys! So today I'm back again with another movie review. Since I watch animes, I watch live-actions too! It's so great to see your favorite 2D characters become alive! Ore Monogatari!! is one of my all-time favorite anime. I don't read the manga though. The anime series is 24 episodes long. It tells about a love story of Gouda Takeo, a high school student who is very tall and muscular, but doesn't have much luck with girls as every girl she likes ends up falling for his best friend, Sunakawa Makoto. This all changes when a petite shy girl, Yamato Rinko falls in love with him!

I like this Takeo character so much. He's really my type lol. Despite his looks (well tbh his look doesn't matter to me. he's cute and all his boldness is breathtaking), he's a really good guy. He's polite, kind, modest. He would help anyone who might need his help, do anything he's still capable of for sake of other people. But most of people in this movie just don't get it! Such dumbheads. There's a scene when Takeo helps a kid drowning in a river. But everyone (including the kid and the kid's mom) sees him as kind of monster who came from nowhere. Then Suna, his best friend came and help Takeo. Suddenly everyone get dazzled by Suna's "heroic action" and Suna get all the thanks. Suna tries to tell that it's Takeo who helps the kid, but well, as I told you before, most of people in this movie are just dumbheads. This kind of scene happens a lot in the anime. It's pathetic, isn't it? When people only sees you by the looks and not by your actions :(

I like the main casts. They're perfect for the movie. Although I hoped for a cuter Rinko, but Mei Nagano is cute enough to play as Rinko. I thought they will make her hair brown like in the anime too, but well, you can see that black hair. Her acts are soooo cuteeee!! He acted so well that I can't see that it's only acting. I think Ryohei Suzuki makes a perfect Takeo, too! His facial expressions really resembles Takeo in anime. Love the parts when he screams "SUKI DAAAAA" (Japanese, means: I like him/her) in mind, it's so hilarious! Last but not least, Kentarō Sakaguchi is a perfect Suna, too. I like his calmness. He acts really cool and just don't realize it. As for the character, I like how Suna loves his best friend sincerely! Both of Takeo and Suna are good guys. Really good that I'm afraid there's no guy in the world might be as good as them lol.

The best part of the movie (in my opinion, ofc) is when Takeo and Rinko goes to a 'date' because Rinko asked Takeo to accompany her looking for a birthday gift for Suna. They went to a shopping center. They make a really cute couple together (they weren't couple yet on that date, tho)!! They also went to a Purikura and took photos together, the photos turned out really cuteeeeee!! This is one of my thousands reason of wanting to go to Japan: Purikura!! xD

Overall, I'm satisfied with this live-action movie. Actually, I expected this movie to be full of stories about Takeo and Rinko being couple, but no. The movie ends when they become couple. Great. But that doesn't really matter because this live-action is very, very good. A good live-action movie really matters to me as a person who watches anime. It sucks when a live-action movie of our favorite anime series doesn't turn out good. But this, is worth watching over and over again :)

[Movie] The Angry Birds Movie

THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE
Genre: Animation, Action, Comedy, Family
Directed by: Clay Kaytis, Fergal Reilly
Written by: John Cohen, Mikael Hed, Mikko Pöllä, Jon Vitti
Release date: May 13, 2016 (Indonesia)
Production house: Rovio Entertainment, Columbia Pictures
Duration: 1 hour 37 min.

Hi guys!! It's me again! So, I went to the cinema with my JHS friends last Tuesday. It was a lot of fun being with them again!! Missed them like hell, and the best part is we still talk each other like best friends who meet everyday. Oh, I also finally got my national exam score that day! I'm so relieved that it isn't as bad as I imagined it will be. Got over 9 for English and Bahasa, but my Math is totally up lol. I remembered how I only can answer 10 questions out of 40. So I answered the other 30 with my divination... Well, at least I'm satisfied with the score! :p

About this movie, I bet all of you guys already know what it might be like since the game was really popular back then. I think it was during my JHS years that Angry Birds game was really viral; everyone has the game in their phones. And yes, the game has sum up pretty much of the movie: Pigs stealing eggs, and birds want their eggs back so they attack the pigs.

So the story tells about Red, the red bird who can't manage his anger. He went to an "anger management class" and met Chuck, the yellow bird, and Bomb, the black bird. There's also Terrence (the big red one) and Matilda as their lecturer. They has their own stories; Red who just simply can't hold his anger towards people, Chuck who can't calm down for a while that he always dashed everywhere (he's so quick!), and Bomb who can't help but literally explode when he's surprised or pissed off. Nobody knows what Terrence's case was, and it seems that even Matilda doesn't want to talk about it. One day, a huge ship docked at birds' island beach. Then two pigs came out of the ship. Leonard, the leader, stated that both of them came in peace, and started giving the birds entertainment shows by the pigs. The birds enjoyed the shows and had party all day with the pigs. But Red knew there's something wrong with the pigs. Red warned the birds that the pigs must be up to no good, but nobody trusts him. And it happened. The pigs stole the eggs, all of them, and brought the eggs to their place. Now, how the birds supposed to get their eggs back? Watch it yourself ;)

For me, the movie was pretty boring at the first hour. Probably because the story is guessable. There's nothing special about the movie that makes me a bit disappointed since I expected so much from this movie because the trailer was really interesting. Well, since I'm not too satisfied with this movie, I can say much. Instead, I'll talk about my favorite characters. If I gotta choose, it must be the Blue triplets!! They was my favorite in the game, too bad they only appear in the last part of the movie. They are soooo cute in the movie!! And it's so sweet that it's Red who saved their life~

Overall, this movie is okay. You may watch this with your family because it's lightweight and there's so many laughs inside (but still no compare to Kung Fu Panda, if you ask me). This movie was really under my expectation. Well, it has been so long since the last time I feel unsatisfied toward a movie, thought. I hope Rovio Ent. will be able to make a better movie next time :)

[Movie] Captain America: Civil War

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR
Genre: Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller
Directed by: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo
Written by: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely
Release date: April 27, 2016 (Indonesia)
Production house: Marvel Entertainment, Marvel Studios
Rating: PG-13
Duration: 2 hours 26 min.

Now, check out that tagline guys. "United we stand. Divided we fall." and that's what really happening in the movie. I really must admit that Captain America: Civil War is totally in the must-watch list of the year. Because all this movie brings is awesomeness! The fights, the conflicts, and even the feelings. So, I warn you, this review might contain spoilers. If you really hate spoilers, you gotta stop reading now and rush to nearby cinema and watch it yourself because you'll have no regrets!

First of all, I wanna you guys to know that I'm actually not into the Avengers so I wouldn't talk anything about the earlier series like The Age of Ultron or others, frankly because I didn't watch any, but this 'civil war' thing really stole my attention. I never thought any idea about these guys fighting each other before, so this must be really awesome isn't it? Moreover, people give a lot of good feedbacks that really concerns me.

As for the synopsis, this movie tells about this guy, Bucky Barnes, who get chased by the world for blowing up the United Nations' building in Wakanda, but get protected by the great Captain America a.k.a Steve Rogers. Surprising, huh? Turns out this Bucky is Steve's old friend and Steve believes him so much that he wants to take Bucky alive. While the Avengers is in their critical situation which they are 'forced' to stop being a private company and work for the government instead, Cap run away with Bucky. Of course Iron Man, a.k.a Tony Stark can't let him do such thing, either as a friend or as a part of Avengers. But to stop each other, both Tony and Steve lack of soldiers. So they recruited new guys, as you can see on the trailer already. Yup, they recruited the bugs; Spider-Man and Ant-Man! While Spider-Man is on Iron Man's side, Ant-Man is on the Cap's.

And now, tell. Whose side are you on? If you're asking me, I'll proudly say that I'm totally on Iron Man's side. #TeamIronMan for life! So, right after watching the trailer, I decided to be on Iron Man's side, why? Well, because there's Spider-Man! He's so hilarious, probably too young to join the Avengers with his blabbery mouth, but his presence in this movie is really entertaining! To be honest, in the middle of the movie when the war happens, my loyalty to Iron Man was a little distracted (I'm so sorry, Tony!). I was like; I want the Cap to be stopped but I want him to runaway, too! But as the movie ends, I know. I know that I'm totally on Iron Man's side. For me, Cap's being too selfish. He knows that what Bucky did was really horrible, yet he still wants Bucky to be free. I be like "What the f, Cap? And you call yourself a superhero that would protect the world?" and I'm really angry to Steve now. Spoiler: the horrible thing Bucky did I meant isn't the United Nations' building. It's something more awful, believe me.

Also, Black Panther seems to be a really important presence in the movie, too. His personality is really something to be proud of. As the king of Wakanda (after his dad's death), I don't see wandering out of his country looking for the person who 'killed' his father is right. But, well, if he doesn't then this movie wouldn't be as great as it has to be. According to other reviews, Black Panther's appearance is something new to the Avengers's movie, but this movie is enough to show his brief story, and there are people saying that he'll get his own movie on 2018.

Last but not least, Captain America: Civil War is totally recommended to enjoy in the weekend with your loved ones. Especially if your loved ones are addicted to Marvel movies! #vrecommended #TeamIronMan. TIPS: As an unsaid rule for Marvel fans; don't leave the theater before the additional scene appears!

[Anime] Seasonal Review: Winter 2016

Hi guys!! It's me again with seasonal anime review along (with a similar template with my previous anime review (Fall 2015) xD). First of all, I would like to warn you that I know that this kind of post is very uncommon, and you may skip reading this post if you're not interested because this will be a very long post. During the season, I started by watching a lot of titles since they all seems interesting, but I stopped some series because it gets boring in the middle of season. So, I watched Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, Akagami no Shirayukihime 2, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2, Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru, Musaigen no Phantom World, Dagashi Kashi, Ao no Kanata Four Rhythm, Luck & Logic, Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, Prince of Stride: Alternative, and Nijiiro Days. Which I stopped watching are Dagashi Kashi, Ao no Kanata Four Rhythm, and Luck & Logic. Also, I'm not going to review Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2 and Nijiiro Days now since they are going to end the series on next season. Despite that, here you go with the review~

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi
僕だけがいない街
English: ERASED
Genre: Mystery, Psychological, Seinen, Supernatural

Rating: A+

Story: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Character: 10/10
Animation: 8.5/10

Synopsis
When tragedy is about to strike, Satoru Fujinuma finds himself sent back several minutes before the accident occurs. The detached, 29-year-old manga artist has taken advantage of this powerful yet mysterious phenomenon, which he calls "Revival," to save many lives. However, when he is wrongfully accused of murdering someone close to him, Satoru is sent back to the past once again, but this time to 1988, 18 years in the past. Soon, he realizes that the murder may be connected to the abduction and killing of one of his classmates, the solitary and mysterious Kayo Hinazuki, that took place when he was a child. This is his chance to make things right.

This is one of the best anime of the season. BEST, I said. Yes. Definitely. Boku dake ga Inai Machi follows Satoru in his mission to uncover what truly transpired 18 years ago and prevent the death of his classmate while protecting those he cares about in the present. As watching Satoru tries his best to save Kayo, you'll get yourself wanting to help them. Well, at least that was what happened to me. I got so attached to this series that I often feel the thrills too much. The ups and downs would make you get confused a little, but you won't regret watching this series at all, though. Some parts are different compared to the manga, which I think it's in order to finish the anime series in 12 episodes. The ending was unpredictable but acceptable. You need to watch this. Really. I beg you xD

Do I expect the second season?
Of course I do, but I think it's impossible since the manga is approaching its ending as well.

Akagami no Shirayukihime 2
赤髪の白雪姫
English: Snow White with the Red Hair 2
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Shoujo

Rating: A

Story: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Character: 10/10
Animation: 9/10

Synopsis
In the second season of Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, Shirayuki continues her adventures, this time returning to her home country of Tanbarun. What adventures and misfortunes will befall her and her crew? Life is dangerous for those with rare red hair!

Yuppppp, this is the second season of my favorite anime Akagami no Shirayukihime. It tells story about Shirayuki, a humble, lovely girl that owns rare red hair. Because of her hair, she got many trouble from bad people who wants to make use of her hair. But then many things happened; she ran away from her home country (Tanbarun) and start living in Clarines. Became friends with the prince, Zen Wistalia, and his escorts Kiki and Mitsuhide. Shirayuki works in the castle as a herbalist. So, as you can guess, Shirayuki and Zen fell in love each other. But trust me, this anime wouldn't disappoint you with lame princess story where the princess just sit there and wait to be saved by her prince. Shirayuki is the bravest 'princess' you might ever seen. In this season, it tells about their daily life in the castle, including when Shirayuki got invited by Prince Raj to a party in Tanbarun and get kidnapped by pirates! You need to watch this also. Please. I beg you xD

Do I expect the third season?
OBVIOUSLY!!! PLEASE. THEY NEED TO MAKE THE NEXT SEASON. PLEASE.

HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru
ハルチカ ~ハルタとチカは青春する~
English: Haruchika: Haruta & Chika
Genre: Mystery, Romance, School, Slie

Rating: B

Story: 7/10
Music: 10/10
Character: 8/10
Animation: 8/10

Synopsis
Chika Homura begins her high school career with a goal: to develop a "cute girl" persona. After quitting the volleyball team despite her all-star status, Chika decides to join her school's underrated Wind Instrument Club and play the flute, believing it to be the most delicate and feminine instrument. For the first time in nine years, Chika reunites with her childhood friend and total opposite, Haruta Kamijou. Unfortunately for Chika, Haruta is not fooled by her efforts to become more endearing. But this does not deter Chika, and she develops a crush on the band instructor, Shinjirou Kusakabe—but so does Haruta! However, Chika's high school life just won't go according to plan, as mysteries begin appearing around her and her friends. The club members must work together to solve the mysteries plaguing the school, all while trying to find more members to compete in musical competitions.

Well, Haruchika is your typical anime where the main characters has different stories for each episode. In this case, they are musical instrumental club solving mystery cases. I like the characters and animation, and what I love the most about Haruchika is the OP song. It's Niji wo Ametara by fhana. About the story, to be honest, the cases are interesting and unpredictable (it's like watching Detective Conan lol), but I get bored with the storyline that I don't watch it routinely but randomly (didn't watch some episodes, need to rewatch). But I love how Haruta says "Chika-chan" that his sound is soooo... I don't know, it's just... soothing. xD

Do I expect the second season?
Nope. I think one season is enough for Haruchika.

Musaigen no Phantom World
無彩限のファントム・ワールド
English: Myriad Colors Phantom World
Genre: Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Supernatural

Rating: B

Story: 8/10
Music: 8/10
Character: 8/10
Animation: 9/10

Synopsis
Phantoms: supernatural entities such as ghosts or youkai that, until recently, were thought to be superstition. However, when a virus that infects the brain spreads throughout society, people's perception of the world changes as the mythical beings are revealed to have been living alongside humanity the entire time. This virus has also affected those of the next generation significantly, allowing them to develop special abilities that they can use to fight against dangerous phantoms. Haruhiko Ichijou and Mai Kawakami are two of those that were granted such power as Haruhiko wields the ability to summon and seal phantoms through drawings while Mai imbues the power of the elements into martial arts. Together, along with the friendly phantom Ruru, they form Team E of Hosea Academy which is dedicated to dealing with these often mischievous beings. In a world where the real and surreal intertwine, Musaigen no Phantom World follows the adventures of a group of friends as they handle the everyday troubles caused by phantoms.

Pretty similar to Haruchika, but in this case, it's some students with supernatural strength solving cases made by phantoms. It also get boring in the middle, but some parts are interesting enough to make me continue watching this, especially the comedy. As the story continues, Haruhiko and Mai meets other people that will join their team. They're Izumi Reina, Koito Minase, and Kumamakura Kurumi. Reina has the ability to eat phantoms to seal them, Koito can attack phantoms using her singing, and Kurumi has a teddy bear named Albrecht that can grow big and attack phantoms. They make a really strong team but careless sometimes. The best part of the story is at the ending about Haruhiko and her mom. It's soooo sweet and heartwarming. I cried watching the last part. But overall, it's a good anime. Plus, it's KyoAni production! I love their animations.

Do I expect the second season?
So-so, but I think it's pretty good if I can see other series about their school life xD

Prince of Stride: Alternative
プリンス・オブ・ストライド オルタナティブ
Genre: Sports

Rating: A

Story: 8/10
Music: 8/10
Character: 9/10
Animation: 8/10

Synopsis
The series is about an extreme form of sport known as "Stride." It involves 6 players on a team that runs relay races in towns. The story takes place at Honan Academy where first year high school students Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai try to recruit members for their "Stride" club. They request Riku Yagami to join with the help of Takeru and Nana. Their goal is to compete and win the "End of Summer," a top competition hosted in Japan alongside other schools.

To be honest, I'm not really into sports anime. I don't watch Kuroko no Basket or Haikyuu! or Free! because, well, I don't really like it when most of the characters are males who cares for each other TOO MUCH. I have a fujoshi soul, but it's really small. Really really really small. So at first, I didn't feel like watching this. But I saw some first impressions about this anime and try watching it. And. NO. REGRETS. My heart got touched. This "Stride" sport is so... Heartwarming. I can feel how it connects the players' feelings. Sometimes I almost cried when they slap hands after running so hard. It's so... I don't know. I love how they see "Stride" as a very important thing in their life. So, please. Tell all your family, friends, and relatives to watch it with you. xD

Do I expect the second season?
YUP! But it seems impossible tho.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
灰と幻想のグリムガル
English: Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy

Rating: B+

Story: 8/10
Music: 7.5/10
Character: 7/10
Animation: 8/10

Synopsis
Fear, survival, instinct. Thrown into a foreign land with nothing but hazy memories and the knowledge of their name, they can feel only these three emotions resonating deep within their souls. A group of strangers is given no other choice than to accept the only paying job in this game-like world—the role of a soldier in the Reserve Army—and eliminate anything that threatens the peace in their new world, Grimgar. When all of the stronger candidates join together, those left behind must create a party together to survive: Manato, a charismatic leader and priest; Haruhiro, a nervous thief; Yume, a cheerful hunter; Shihoru, a shy mage; Mogzo, a kind warrior; and Ranta, a rowdy dark knight. Despite its resemblance to one, this is no game—there are no redos or respawns; it is kill or be killed.

The first thing I like the most about the squad is they don't magically become pros in two or three episodes. They started as rookies that can't do anything well, but then they keep improving their skills and abilities, slowly but surely. It's exciting to see they improve, feels like watching your kids grow up lol. Haruhiro is a sweet hero for the show, how he tries his best to be a perfect leader to his party but never forgets Manato as their first leader. Manato's death was sooooooo heartbreaking!!! I was like "OMG IT'S FOURTH EPISODE AND THEY LOST A LOVELY LEADER?" it was so frustating that Manato couldn't be saved. Manato is a really good man. And good people always die first. Although they often have conflict each other, they still make a good team. Even the annoying dark knight, Ranta, can become melancholic when he's desperate. I really think that you won't regret watching this. Why? Well, because I don't xD

Do I expect the second season?
So-so, but I think I want a further explanation about how they could end up in Grimgar. It's still a mystery!

And I just want to make sure that you guys know that I make these anime reviews just for fun. I made it based on my opinion. Don't take it seriously when my opinion doesn't match yours. And just in case you want to know the rank of the animes I reviewed above, here you are:
