Sleep Goals

Getting into a new year, most of us get busier and restless. We have to seek a way out of it and make sure ourselves to get enough rest, at least to have a good night sleep every night. And of course, we have to find ways to stay happy and avoid stress. So, here's a few tips for you!

Do Something Positive

Do things that sets your day up for greatness! Read good books, do some stretch, drink coffee, write a journal, etc. You can also do this with your friends to boost up the mood! Positive things done with favorite people can be a very good remedy for our tired body and mind. 

Be Productive

Boost your productivity through doing great things. Do some workout, take small jobs, etc. Most of all, I think the best one to do is let your passion do it. Develop your hobbies! Turn it to something awesome that you've never imagine before.

Drink Water & Eat Breakfast

Food has always been the sweetest escape. Give your energy level a boost by rehydrating and refueling. Sometimes, healthy foods and drinks are everything you need to make each of your days. It's okay to set your 'cheat day' but make sure you set limits!

Nighttime Prep

Don't let your mind be full of so many things in the morning. So, prep things for tomorrow before you go to bed. Set your outfit of the day, pack your lunch, and organize what you need for the day (make sure you have everything you need in the bag!). No more chaos in the morning!

Set a Bedtime

I know, sometimes we're just not in the mood of sleeping although we have to. But we have to know ourselves and make commitment to sleep at the time that will allow us to get enough sleep before the alarm rings! Start setting an alarm just for a precaution instead of wake you up. That would be amazing!

Make a Gradual Change

To change your bedtime and alarm habits, you can start setting your alarm back 10-15 minutes more each day until you reach your goal. I know it might be so hard to do at first, but we'll never know what kind of change we can make, right?

Adjust Your Alarm

I hate the beeps that repeats all the time to wake me up. Yeah, we all do. So, how about pick your favorite upbeat song to be your alarm sound? It might spark your morning spirit to get up and start a dance. And if it doesn't work because you keep hitting snooze button? Just set the most annoying noise as you alarm sound, highest volume, and put it across the room. 

Upgrade Your Bed

With good sleep environment, comes a good sleep quality. You know, you won't regret investing your money in a new mattress, upgrade your pillow, and buy new sheets and blankets, because it will be totally worth it. Plus, you can always find your best sleeping company at Leesa ;)

4 Pop Culture Cars I Admired

I don't know much about cars, but I'm excited to talk about pop culture ones!

Herbie

I've always adored Volkswagen Beetle, because I think small is cute, and I love cute things. 

And somehow, despite what year it is now, VW Beetle always looks vintage and cool at the same time. Timeless and beautiful!

Mr. Bean's Car

Another cute small car! I googled and found out that it's a 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000. The color also made me like it even more. Who knows if someday I might drive this car on the highway by sitting on an armchair on the car? It must be a so challenging and awesome!

The Mystery Machine

Who doesn't know about this legendary van? The best, one and only vehicle for the Mystery Inc. wandering around while breaking mysteries. The big size will let me bring my friends go places and maybe, just maybe—solve mysteries as well? I'm so sure that this car can get everyone feel a lot of fun!

Doc

The fabulous Hudson Hornet! I love Disney Pixar's movie Cars, and Doc was one of my favorite character (despite him being a total jerk in the middle of the movie lol). Vintage cars always steal my attention. I really want to know how it feels to get inside this car and feel the 'vintage' feeling~

But I know, there's some people that think this kind of cars are too overrated in some ways and they prefer modern cars. My Dream Crate: Stitch! | LOOT CRATE

Although there are so many ideas came into my head about what should I put in my dream crate (including putting various merchandises that are related to some of my favorite anime series), I finally decided to choose my favorite Disney character EVER, Stitch, to be my dream crate main theme 💙

It wasn't easy to decide what I want to put in my dream crate because I wanted to put everything lol. I picked the hand bag because it's SUPER CUTE, and I won't mind to use that bag anywhere and anytime. And I've always adored Funko Pop figures, and would be so happy if I own one in Stitch version! The Scrump doll just came in my mind suddenly, since I don't have any Scrump doll in my collection because I was too busy collecting Stitch dolls. Then, why did I pick the pink onesie instead of the blue one? Well it's because I already own the blue one lol and I want the pink one too, as it would represents Stitch's lover, Angel! Despite having the blue onesie, I don't have the shoes that matches yet, so I put the shoes into my dream crate too. Last but not least, a Stitch t-shirt! To be honest, I don't have any clothes that's related to Stitch (because it's hard to find a good one with reasonable price) so I think it's okay to add it into my dream crate.

I'm sorry if it's too much but it's my dream! My dreams always contains mostly impossible things that might never come to me lol. So, how about you guys? What would you put in your dream crate? Planning Your Perfect Night In

As grown-ups, we have our own business and sometimes all we need is time. Time to relax, time for yourself doing everything you like to boost your mood up. For me, my quality time requires bunch of my favorite snacks, comfy attire, cozy spot, warm fluffy blanket, and a laptop full of my favorite movies. But sometimes I ran out of movies, so I'll simply went to Netflix. Now, how to manage a pleasurable quality time? Well, let me help you prepare it! Check these points out:

Nom Nom!

You don't wanna have your quality time without anything to chew, do you? Make sure you have everything you want. Either it's potato chips, chocolate balls, candies, or even your favorite bottled/canned drinks. But don't forget to set limits! Because it's quality time not quantity time ;)

Comfy Attire

This is also an important point. You'll always feel better if you're wearing comfortable clothes. This can be your favorite tee or sweater, or maybe your boyfie's oversized hoodie. You can also choose it based on your favorite pattern or material. Anything's okay, as long as you feel comfortable!

Cozy Spot

It can be your bedroom, living room, or family room, but mostly we pick bedroom because it's more private and we always feel comfortable in our own bedrooms, right? You may set up the best placements for your pillows, dolls, and everything, and put the snacks the way you like it~ (if necessary, for the mood, you can also decorate your room first, like putting tiny lamps, hang a dreamcatcher, attach your favorite photos with friends on the wall, etc).

Warm Blanket

Choose one that you like the most! Just like choosing the attire, you can also pick a blanket based on the pattern or material. Flufy material will also be a good choice! I personally recommend the mermaid blanket! It's getting popular now and it's soooo cute!! Remember, cute things can also boost mood up! :D 

The Movies

Prepare the movies you're going to watch in your laptop or other devices you have. It's better if your download it first instead of go streaming because it's very annoying if the movie stops most of the time because of the bad connection!

When Movie is No Good

Sometimes the movie turned out no good and you lost your mood. But don't be! You can always find other alternative. You can go check tumblr or instagram for inspiration, or simply play your favorite game, or just relax while listening to your favorite music. 

If all of the points above are checked, you're ready to enjoy the most pleasurable quality time for yourself! But always keep aware of time so you won't go too far away to your own kingdom of pleasureness :)) well I think that's all for now. See you next post! xx

Early Spring | Spring Wishlist

Hi guys!! My school life now is all about assignments, try outs, exams, exams, and exams. As a 12th grader, it's not easy to get through a day at school. Teachers talk about the same things over and over again (that we need to study, study and study because we're running out of time before the exams). I'll have my pre-practical exam on the first week of February. It's really out of my expectation that the exams will come this fast, but oh well. I'll have to just go with the flow, right? Wish me luck, guys!

My Dorm Room Essentials

As a 12th grader, I have to prepare a lot of things before I enter my college life. I have to process my registration forms, scholarship applications, and keep looking for informations about my major (what will I do and what stuffs I need to prepare). Actually, the university I choose is pretty far from home, but I haven't decided whether I'll stay in my parent's home or start living in a the dorm. 

To be honest, I don't like the idea of living alone. It would be lonely and boring and probably gadgets will be my only time killer. That's no good, right? But, on the other hand, I like it that there won't be anyone who scold me if my room is messy or if I don't sweep the floor, etc (pardon my laziness). Also, my favorite part of the idea of living alone is that I can decor my room as cool as I want! 

So, just for today, let's imagine I'm freshly graduated from high school and now officially a college student. In this post I'll share with you my dorm room essentials and some tips about great ways to decor your room. A friendly reminder; this post will be written according to my opinion and personal taste ;)

BURST YOUR CREATIVITY OUT

Don't let your room wall gets lonely. Add some your artsy creations like collage photos and some statement posters. Make some drawings on canvas, cut some of your favorite magazine pages of your favorite movies or actors, and proudly put it on your wall. Buy or make some unique dreamcatchers, and get some fairy lights or cute lanterns as decorations too! The most important thing to remember is make sure you're happy with it! 

DON'T STARVE YOURSELF

A good college student always supply their food in the room. But most of our favorite food and drinks are more enjoyable after refrigerated, right? Also, sometimes we can't finish our snack and want to leave some for the next day. Start saving your money and buy a mini fridge! I'm sure it will be very useful for your everyday needs. You can simply stock your food and drinks in the fridge for some time (2-3 days, for example) instead of buying them everyday in small amount because of the worries they won't stay in good quality the next day. You don't need to go outside anymore if you suddenly get hungry at night! 

LET MUSIC GET YOU RELAXED

Believe it or not, music is one of the most important essentials of your room. Music can makes you feel relaxed everytime you feel tired after a long day. You can buy a speaker (you don't need it big and expensive, but at least buy a standard quality so it won't easily broke) and connect it to your phone or laptop. Make some playlists based on the theme or genre, or you can also arrange it based on what songs you want to hear when you're sad or happy or disappointed or lacking of confidence.

SLEEP WELL!

Here comes the primary essential. As everyone knows, college life will make you very busy as time flies. We need to finish a lot of assignments until very late at night yet we still need to wake up early the next day with full energy. And for that, we need to make sure our bed is the best place to end the day. I like my bed covered in white. It makes me feel calm and pleasant. Also, my favorite bed cover is the thick and soft one. You can lit scented candles on your nightstands to make you fall into deep sleep easier.
